My Plans to tackle traffic: As Published in Gwinnett Daily Post on April 15, 2026
Chowdhury said he sees traffic as a “Tax on Economic Productivity.” He used the example of a delivery truck being stuck in traffic and costing their employee productivity and the ability to compete with similar companies.
His approach is what he called a “Dynamic Mobility Strategy” focused on: Intelligent Infrastructure, such as adaptive signal control technology on commercial corridors; the creation of micro freight distribution zones where packages are transferred at a facility from big trucks to smaller delivery vehicles; and incentives for companies to stager shift start times for employees.
“If we just disperse 10% of those peak traffic hours to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for some of the businesses here in Gwinnett, we’re just opening up 10% of our capacity on the roads with no new road construction,” Chowdhury said.

It is a distinct honor to receive the endorsement of Veterans For America First in our campaign for Gwinnett County Commissioner, District 4.
“Serving in the U.S. Army taught me the fundamentals that resonate with anyone: doing what’s right, speaking honestly, honoring commitments, and putting others before myself. While I’ve retired my uniform, that spirit of service hasn’t faded—it’s simply taken a new direction.
Today I’m channeling those same values into our community. Whether it’s lending a hand at a local shelter, supporting neighbors in need, or helping improve the safety and wellbeing of our county, I’m dedicated to making a tangible, positive impact.
In short, the lessons from my military service guide me every day, and I’ll continue using them to serve the people around me—just like any citizen who wants to give back.”
